We are seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Administrative Support position in the New Horizons Program.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
In this position you will provide front desk reception coverage, handle incoming phone calls, be the first point of contact for our clients and family, maintain reports for mandatory data related to quality improvement and performance measures for the program.
Review information from electronic health record as necessary for billing and provide notifications to staff related to any items that are out of compliance.
You will be responsible for Office Management, organizing the regular team meetings to include scheduling and keeping minutes related to the meeting.
You will assist the Program Manager and Therapist IV's with any administrative tasks that are needed to include making binders, calling clients to update non-clinical data, ordering office supplies, and assisting staff and clients with administrative needs.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.

PREFERENCES:
Two years prior experience working in an office setting, Experience providing face to face customer service.
Familiarity with services for persons with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
Experience handling multi-line phones.
Experience with performing research and developing reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Eperience data processing.
Experience with using electronic health records.
Experience with creating spreadsheets and collecting and analyzing data.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
This full-time position, based in our Ridgewood office, requires a 5-day work week from 9am-5pm daily.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass TB test Certification in First Aid and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation, as required Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check Child Protective Services Requirements:
Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
