The successful candidate will serve an integral role, providing essential support to the men and women of the Prince William County Police Department in the Chief's Office.

The selected applicant will serve as key role player in the police departments chief's office by supporting leadership staff with clerical duties, processing travel requests , order supplies as needed and perform basic administrative duties to including typing, and providing exceptional customer service Minimum Requirements:
Preferences:
The successful candidate will have Microsoft experience, experience with a correspondence tracking application and customer service experience.
Special Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must pass DMV check, polygraph, background investigation, credit check, and pre-employment drug screening.
Must be proficient in the operation of motor vehicles Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8-4:

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or G.

and 2 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
PREFERENCES:
The successful candidate will have- Experience in a public safety environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Experience providing support to staff at the Executive/Director/CEO level.
Experience working with confidential information.
Experience with a correspondence tracking application.
Customer service experience.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 8-4:
30 work schedule.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
All employees considered for hire by the Police Department are subject to a Polygraph Examination and a thorough Background Investigation.
STARTING SALARY RANGE:
$24.
82-$36.
08 hourly // $48,399-$70,356 annually.
