The ideal candidate must possess previous medical office experience, be able to work without direct supervision, and be able to perform the tasks listed below.

8am - 3pm NO WEEKENDS Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for staffing the reception area by routing all incoming telephone calls appropriately, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, streamlining patient visits, maintaining accurate insurance information for each patient, and collecting patient balances.
Responsibilities:
1.
Welcome patients, interact with them as they sign in and notify the PT or the PTA that the patient has arrived.
2.
Confirm that new patients have all required documentation (i.
e.
, prescription, referral, valid insurance, etc.
) prior to scheduling an appointment.
3.
Obtain/track accurate insurance information on all patients.
4.
Verify patient's insurance benefits for all plans.
5.
Schedule appointments for new and established patients.
6.
Interact with patients as they exit the facility throughout the day confirming their next appointment.
7.
Maintains patient files.
Create profiles for all new patients.
8.
Handle all telephone calls with utmost courtesy and promptness.
All calls are to be relayed according to the established protocols.
9.
Confirm the appointments of all patients to be seen the following day.
Check with PT's and PTA's to determine patients that are likely to cancel or not show for their appointments.
10.
At the end of the day, coordinate with the pm staff any patients that still need to be called to confirm their appointments.
11.
Receives vendors, verifies deliveries for clinic, signs for deliveries, logs delivery as needed and provides unloading instructions to delivery service.
12.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment (including patient reception area, front desk, etc.
).
All areas should be neat and free of clutter.
13.
Be mindful of the potential for exposure to blood-borne pathogens and exercise all appropriate precautions.
14.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience to include:
High school diploma or its equivalent Previous office/administrative experience required Previous medical experience required Familiarity with Microsoft Office Familiarity with Clinicient, InsightEMR, or other medical scheduling software Work Remotely No Job Types:
