As a recognized authority in the field, the Staff Business Specialist develops processes and implements methods to accomplish effective business systems and decisions.
25% - Oversee process and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Controls, Contract reporting requirements, External audit requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, and Aerojet''s Disclosure Statement.
20% - Oversee, review, direct, and prepare variance analysis supporting monthly financial forecasts of awards, sales, profit, cash, and backlog.
15% - Support implementation of Oracle and Hyperion looking for process improvements, updating training manuals, and other providing general support and leadership as required.
10% - Develop training materials, write financial procedures and conduct training classes for Revenue Recognition and Financial Process Controls.
10% - Oversee, review, direct, and prepare variance analysis supporting Five Year Strategic Plan for awards, sales, profit, cash, and backlog.
10% - Support compliance with the ANSI/EIA 748 EVMS Guidelines by working with staff in analyzing cost and schedule data from the Earned Value system and train in the use of cost and schedule tools including Microsoft Project, MPM, Excel, Access and AIPM
10% - Support special projects required by the Director of Financial Operations, Business Unit Leads, or Sacramento Business Management.
A Bachelor''s degree in an appropriate discipline and fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications:
Excellent quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Sarbanes Oxley controls, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Cost Accounting Standards
Experience working with project management principles, policies, and procedures
Awareness of EVM principles, as defined by ANSI/EIA Standard-748-A-1998, Earned Value Management Systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel
A strong willingness to be part of a team
The ability to interface successfully with both business personnel and technical lead
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation
Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.)
Occasional Travel. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
